Explanation of Painting: The right hand of God symbolizes covenant and authority. Light and Glory stream from the hand of God, illuminating the Bread and Wine. The Hebrew letters spell the name Melchizedek- the priesthood born of covenant and endued with authority, the priesthood of Light and Glory. The Bread and Wine point to the Body and Blood of Christ. We are the Body of Christ, we are now of His Bloodline and the Blood of Christ courses through our veins. The Bread and Wine point not only to the Body and Blood of Christ, but also to a People in His Image and Likeness... a RE-membered, many-membered Body. "This is my BODY which is given for you: this do in REmembrance of Me." (Luke 22:19) The cluster of grapes symbolizes the release of the New Wine of corporate anointing, "As the new wine is found in the cluster..." (Isaiah 65:8) As the Melchizedek Priesthood, we are to be a people that bring forth the 'Bread' of Life and the New 'Wine' of the Spirit to those who hunger and thirst.
